The food is not amazing, at least the pasta. The raviolis were normal, the filling was not special. The tiramisu tastes more or less as it should, but it's not the traditional one and it's quite heavy. It does not have enough biscotti and too much panna, and the chocolate is melt. Too expensive in my opinion.
So far so good. They offer different draft beers.
Tip tap top
Nice place in the very center of Alessandria, with attention to detail and pub style.
Varied menu with an excellent choice of burgers and dishes in general, good selection of various types of beer.
Excellent service and staff and good prices.
Advise!!
I went to eat at this pub, I had a hamburger and a red beer, I must say that everything was very good.
There is a good choice of both, at the service I give 7, very kind but not attentive, the staff get lost a bit talking to each other, not that it is forbidden, but greater attention to the customer is Better.
All in all very good!
A historic place for those like me who are in their forties... the new ownership has been able to make it an icon of good food (especially meat) and good drinking (always new beers and evenings dedicated to whiskey tasting!).
The location of the restaurant is very central, overlooking Piazza del Duomo and its bell tower.
In the summer the terrace along the street makes it an A+ place!
Friendly, friendly and helpful staff.
Very interesting selection of whisk(e)y by the owner Paolo, always happy to guide the customer towards choosing the perfect dram.
The availability of a 'whisky list' combined with service in Glencairn glasses (and a separate glass of water with ice) were a magnificent surprise, confirming the professionalism and attention to detail that the owner invests in his restaurant, making the customer feel definitely 'in the right place'. See you soon!
Nice place, I frequented it when I was young when it had just opened, years later, in which I no longer lived here, it is still there, with a new owner but the spirit is the same, the quality excellent. Highly recommended
